| Product Overview |
The Electric Chick Brooder Heating Plate is a localized poultry heating solution designed to provide young chicks with a protected warm zone during the first stages of rearing. Chicks move underneath the heating surface when they require warmth and can leave the heated area freely when comfortable. Unlike conventional overhead heat lamps that mainly radiate heat from above into an open brooding area, the heating plate is positioned close to chick level. Its underside transfers heat downward into the sheltered space beneath the plate, creating a brooding environment that follows the basic warming principle of a mother hen. Adjustable support legs allow the plate height to be raised as chicks grow. Depending on the selected model, temperature regulation can be provided by an integrated thermostat, rotary adjustment or compatible external control system. An insulated upper structure helps direct useful heat toward the birds rather than unnecessarily heating the surrounding air. The product is suitable for chick rearing, ducklings, quail and other suitable young poultry. In commercial poultry projects, brooder plates can be used in designated chick-rearing zones together with feeders, drinkers, brooder guards and the livestock ventilation system. SHEWUYOU can supply brooder heating plates for poultry farms, livestock equipment distributors, agricultural engineering companies, agents and project buyers. Plate size, heating capacity, electrical specification, leg configuration, temperature control and packaging can be customized according to project requirements. |

Electrical energy is converted into heat inside the plate. The lower surface becomes warm and transfers heat into the sheltered space immediately beneath the unit, allowing chicks to move under the plate when they require additional warmth. The upper section is insulated to encourage heat transfer toward the animals instead of dissipating unnecessary energy upward. Where thermostatic control is fitted, the heater cycles or regulates output according to the selected temperature setting instead of operating continuously at maximum output. As chicks grow, the support legs can be raised to provide additional clearance. Correct height should allow chicks to enter and leave comfortably while remaining close enough to the underside to benefit from the warm microclimate. |

Brooder Preparation Position the heating plate on a stable, dry brooder floor with enough surrounding space for chicks to move freely between the heated and unheated areas. Feeders and drinkers should remain accessible without forcing birds to stay permanently beneath the plate. Height Adjustment Set the plate low enough for newly hatched chicks to obtain warmth from the underside while maintaining sufficient clearance for comfortable movement. Increase the height gradually as the birds grow. One side may be positioned slightly differently where the selected leg design permits, providing chicks with different levels of proximity to the warm surface. Electrical Connection Confirm that the adapter, cable, voltage and plug configuration match the local electrical supply. Keep electrical connections away from drinkers, wet litter and cleaning water. Damaged cables or adapters should be replaced before operation. Temperature Adjustment Where adjustable temperature control is provided, begin with the setting recommended for the selected model and observe bird behavior. Chicks remaining tightly crowded beneath the plate may require more warmth or a lower plate position, while birds consistently avoiding the heated area may indicate excessive heat. Integration with Farm Climate Control Brooder plates provide localized heating and do not replace the livestock ventilation system. Poultry houses must continue to receive appropriate fresh-air exchange and humidity control according to bird age, stocking conditions and building design. Routine Maintenance
