Product Overview The Containerized Farm Water Recycling System brings selected wastewater treatment and polishing equipment together in a transportable enclosure. It is designed for pig farms, livestock production sites, and agricultural projects that need a compact, serviceable source of treated water for approved non-potable uses. Process selection depends on the incoming wastewater, the required outlet quality, and local reuse rules.
Key Features
  • Factory-assembled equipment reduces the amount of piping, wiring, and fabrication required on site.
  • Modular treatment stages can be selected for the farm's wastewater characteristics and reuse objective.
  • An enclosed layout protects equipment and provides defined access for inspection and maintenance.
  • Containerized construction helps integrate water treatment into new pig farm construction or existing farm upgrades.
  • Additional modules and external tanks can be considered where treatment capacity or storage needs increase.
Structural Components A typical arrangement includes a structural container enclosure, internal equipment supports, transfer pumps, process piping, valves, electrical controls, and monitoring instruments. Depending on the treatment design, internal modules may include biological treatment, membrane filtration, advanced filtration, or disinfection. Equalization tanks, primary solids separation, reclaimed water storage, and sludge handling may be installed outside the container.
Working Principle Farm wastewater first passes through the specified upstream collection, solids separation, and equalization stages. It then enters the containerized treatment modules for further removal of contaminants. Where required, filtration and disinfection polish the effluent before it flows to a designated reclaimed water tank. The final process train is engineered from water analysis and the intended reuse standard; raw manure slurry is not fed directly into membrane polishing equipment.
Technical Specifications
  • Treatment capacity: According to project requirements
  • Influent and treated water criteria: Defined by testing and the intended reuse application
  • Process configuration: Customizable
  • Container size and module quantity: Available upon request
  • Electrical supply and automation level: According to project requirements
  • Insulation, ventilation, and weather protection: Designed according to local climate and farm conditions
Applications The system can support wastewater reuse planning for commercial pig farms, breeding units, livestock complexes, and agricultural estates. Potential uses of adequately treated water include permitted irrigation, landscape watering, and other approved non-potable applications. Reuse within animal housing or around livestock equipment requires a separate assessment of water quality, biosecurity, and applicable local requirements.
Customization Options Treatment stages, container arrangement, pump duty, control system, access doors, corrosion protection, ventilation, and external tank connections can be customized. For farms with steel structure buildings, the container can be positioned to suit service roads, buried pipe routes, drainage, and the wastewater treatment area's available footprint.
Installation & Maintenance Install the container on an engineered, level foundation with access for delivery equipment and future servicing. Connect the influent, treated water, residuals, drainage, power, and control interfaces specified in the project drawings. Commissioning includes checking pipework, instruments, controls, and treatment performance. Routine service depends on the selected process and may include pump inspection, filter cleaning, membrane maintenance, instrument calibration, and residuals removal.
Product FAQ

Can this system treat raw pig manure slurry directly?
A farm-specific pretreatment design is required. Coarse solids and variable organic loads must be addressed before sensitive downstream treatment stages.

Is reverse osmosis always necessary?
No. RO is selected only when the water analysis and intended reuse quality justify it.

What information is needed for a proposal?
Provide wastewater flow, laboratory analysis, existing treatment stages, the intended reuse application, site layout, power supply, and local water quality requirements.
