| Product Overview | The Portable Multi-Parameter Water Quality Meter is a compact field testing instrument designed to combine pH, electrical conductivity (EC) and total dissolved solids (TDS) measurement in one portable unit. A combination probe simplifies routine inspection by reducing the need to carry separate meters and electrodes. The meter is suitable for livestock drinking water inspection, farm water storage systems, water treatment rooms, agricultural water sources and other locations requiring rapid on-site water quality checks. Its portable, battery-powered structure is particularly useful for technicians working across multiple livestock houses or project sites. For commercial livestock equipment projects, pig farm construction and steel structure building applications, the instrument can be used as part of routine commissioning, water supply inspection and preventive maintenance procedures. |

| Working Principle | The instrument measures several important water quality indicators through a combination probe. The pH sensor measures the electrochemical potential associated with hydrogen ion activity and converts the signal into a pH value. The conductivity section measures electrical conductivity generated by dissolved ionic substances in the water. TDS is calculated from conductivity using an established conversion factor. Automatic temperature compensation adjusts conductivity-related readings for changes in sample temperature. Before routine testing, the appropriate measuring range should be selected and the instrument calibrated using suitable standard solutions. |

| Installation & Maintenance | The portable meter does not require permanent installation. Connect the combination probe, install the battery and calibrate the instrument with appropriate standard solutions before testing. Place the sensor into a representative water sample and gently move or stir the probe to obtain a stable reading. Rinse the probe between different samples to reduce cross-contamination. The pH sensing section should be kept hydrated with an appropriate electrode storage solution when not in use. Distilled or deionized water should not be used for long-term storage of the pH electrode. Residue on conductivity sensors can affect EC and TDS measurement, so routine cleaning is recommended. Calibration should also be performed after cleaning, extended storage, probe replacement or whenever measurement accuracy needs to be verified. |

| Product FAQ | What water quality parameters can this meter measure? The reference configuration measures pH, electrical conductivity and total dissolved solids using one combination probe. Why are pH, EC and TDS useful in livestock water management? These measurements help farm operators evaluate acidity or alkalinity and monitor changes in dissolved ionic content in drinking water, storage tanks and treatment systems. Can the meter be used directly on a livestock farm? Yes. Its portable, battery-powered design is suitable for field sampling at tanks, reservoirs, water treatment rooms and other farm water monitoring points. Does it require permanent installation? No. It is a handheld testing instrument intended for portable inspection and routine sampling. How should the probe be maintained? Rinse the probe after testing, clean deposits when necessary, store the pH sensor in suitable storage solution and calibrate regularly using appropriate standards. |
