| Product Overview |
The Poultry Drinking Line Repair Kit is a configurable maintenance package for repairing damaged or leaking poultry nipple drinking lines. It can include pipe connectors, expansion connectors, crimp rings, sealing components, replacement fittings and dedicated installation tools according to the drinking-system design. The kit is suitable for routine farm maintenance, emergency waterline repairs and renovation of existing broiler, breeder, layer and pullet drinking systems. By allowing damaged sections and individual fittings to be serviced instead of replacing an entire drinking line, it helps reduce downtime and maintenance costs in commercial poultry houses. |

| Structural Principle |
A damaged section of poultry drinking pipe is removed or prepared for reconnection. The replacement connector is positioned between the two pipe ends and secured using compatible crimp rings or locking components. The connector provides mechanical alignment while the flexible sealing surface or O-ring creates a water-tight joint. A dedicated crimping tool is used where metal crimp rings are specified to ensure the rings are closed correctly around the connector. After the repair is completed, the drinking line is pressurized and inspected for leakage before being returned to normal operation. |

| Installation & Maintenance |
Shut off and drain the drinking line before beginning repair work. Identify the damaged pipe, connector or fitting and remove the defective component without damaging adjacent nipple drinkers or support profiles. Cut or prepare the pipe ends square and remove burrs, plastic chips and contamination. Position the correct connector between the pipe sections and install the specified crimp rings or locking components. Where crimp rings are used, apply the dedicated crimping tool at the designed locking point. Avoid makeshift tools that may leave the clamp loose or damage the connector. Restore the water supply gradually and inspect the repaired joint for leakage. Flush the line before returning it to poultry drinking operation to remove debris introduced during maintenance. Keep commonly used connectors, seals, nipples and repair tools in a clean maintenance area so emergency drinking-line repairs can be completed quickly during a flock cycle. |
