Poultry Drinker Line Suspension System

The Poultry Drinker Line Suspension System is designed to support, level, raise and lower nipple drinking lines in commercial poultry houses. The complete system can combine a cable winch, steel cable, pulleys, suspension cords, line hangers, cable clamps and structural fastening hardware.

Height adjustment allows the nipple line to follow bird growth throughout the production cycle. The drinking equipment can also be raised toward the poultry-house ceiling during litter removal, washing, disinfection and flock changeover, improving floor access and simplifying livestock-house management.

The nipple drinking line is supported at multiple points by vertical suspension cords attached to line hangers or clips. These cords are connected to an overhead cable system guided through pulleys mounted to the poultry-house structure.

Operating the winch winds or releases the main cable, changing the effective length of the suspension system and raising or lowering the drinking line. Individual cord adjusters can then be used for final leveling.

Correct drinker-line height allows poultry to reach upward toward the nipples while helping limit unnecessary splashing, bird contact with the line and litter moisture.

Before installation, verify that the poultry-house roof truss, wall or steel building structure is suitable for the intended suspension load. Position the winch and pulleys so that the lifting cable follows a clear route without unnecessary sharp angles.

Install suspension clips along the drinking line and connect them to the overhead cable using nylon cords and suitable adjusters. The suspension points should be distributed evenly according to the drinking-line structure and engineering requirements.

After installation, operate the winch through the required lifting range and level the complete drinking line. Check that all suspension cords share the load properly and that the water pipe is not twisted or excessively deflected.

Routine maintenance should include inspection of the winch, cable, pulleys, clamps, cords, suspension clips and structural fixing points. Replace worn or damaged lifting components promptly and keep moving parts serviced according to their operating requirements.
