| Product Overview | The Wireless LoRa Humidity Temperature and CO2 Sensor for Livestock Farms is a robust three-in-one environmental monitoring device developed for continuous measurement of relative humidity, ambient temperature and carbon dioxide concentration in livestock buildings. By combining three important climate parameters in one sensor, the system reduces the number of individual sensing devices required inside pig houses, poultry houses, dairy barns and other agricultural buildings. Built-in LoRaWAN wireless communication enables sensor data to be transmitted to a compatible gateway with substantially less signal cabling than conventional wired monitoring systems. The sensor is suitable for commercial livestock facilities, new farm construction, steel structure livestock buildings and climate-control retrofit projects where reliable environmental data and flexible sensor positioning are required. |

| Working Principle | The sensor simultaneously measures temperature, relative humidity and CO2 concentration in the surrounding livestock-house air. Internal electronics process these measurements and transmit the resulting environmental data through the integrated LoRaWAN communication module. A compatible LoRa gateway receives data from one or more sensors installed throughout the farm. The collected information can then be transferred to a monitoring platform, server or compatible farm management system for climate analysis, alarms, reporting and environmental management. In commercial pig and poultry production, the measured data can support ventilation evaluation, heating and cooling management, humidity control and assessment of indoor air quality. |

| Installation & Maintenance | Install the sensor in a representative animal-zone location with sufficient airflow around the sensing area. Avoid positions directly exposed to heaters, cooling-pad water, fogging nozzles, fresh-air jets, direct sunlight or other local influences that could produce non-representative measurements. After mechanical installation and power connection, the wireless sensor must be paired with the compatible LoRa gateway. Device identification information can be entered manually or obtained from the product label according to the selected system configuration. During livestock-house cleaning and disinfection, install the protective cap according to the operating instructions. High-pressure cleaning with cold water is permitted only when the specified protective cap is correctly installed. Avoid hot high-pressure water, solvents, corrosive agents, highly compressed air and unsuitable disinfectants. Periodically inspect the sensor housing, protective filter, cable, connector and mounting point. The sensing area should remain free from excessive dust deposits and mechanical obstruction. |

| Project Cases | Typical applications include multi-house pig farm monitoring projects where wireless sensors are installed in sow, nursery and finishing buildings and transmit climate data to centrally located LoRa gateways. In large poultry projects, sensors can be distributed along the production house to provide temperature, humidity and CO2 data from representative zones without extensive signal-cable installation. The system is also suitable for livestock farm expansion projects where additional monitoring points need to be added without major modification to the existing building wiring. |

| Product FAQ | Q: What parameters does this wireless sensor measure? A: It simultaneously measures relative humidity, ambient temperature and CO2 concentration. Q: Does the sensor need a signal cable to the central controller? A: Measurement data is transmitted wirelessly through LoRaWAN. A power connection is still required for the sensor. Q: Is a gateway required? A: Yes. A compatible LoRaWAN gateway is required to receive the wireless sensor data. Q: Is the sensor suitable for commercial pig houses? A: Yes. It is designed for livestock-house environments and is suitable for pig, poultry and other intensive farming applications. Q: Can it withstand livestock-house washing? A: The sensor has an IP67-rated housing and can be protected during approved high-pressure cold-water cleaning by using the designated protective cap. Q: How far can LoRa communication reach inside a livestock house? A: Reference documentation specifies a range of up to approximately 300 m under suitable livestock-house conditions. Actual range depends on walls, structural obstacles and installation height. Q: Can several sensors connect to one monitoring system? A: Yes. Multiple wireless monitoring points can be planned according to livestock-house zoning, gateway capacity and project requirements. Q: Can the system be customized for a complete pig farm project? A: Yes. Sensor quantity, gateway arrangement, power supply, installation accessories and monitoring architecture can be configured according to project requirements. |
