Wall Mounted Evaporative Air Cooler

Product Name Wall Mounted Evaporative Air Cooler
Product Image wall mounted evaporative air cooler with fan outlet
Product Overview

The Wall Mounted Evaporative Air Cooler draws outdoor air through water-wetted cooling media and supplies the treated air through a wall opening or compatible outlet connection. Evaporation absorbs heat from the incoming air before it enters the building.

A fixed wall position keeps equipment off the working floor and can simplify the planning of fresh-air entry points. In livestock facilities, the cooler must be coordinated with exhaust fans, air distribution and humidity management as part of the livestock ventilation system.

The configuration can be considered for commercial pig houses, poultry buildings and other agricultural projects. For pig farm construction or a steel structure building, the wall opening, mounting support and weather sealing should be included in the building design.

The required unit quantity, airflow and outlet arrangement depend on building layout, stocking plan and local climate. Expected cooling performance should be assessed for the actual project conditions.

Key Features 1. Fixed wall installation preserves usable floor space.
2. Supplies outdoor air cooled through water evaporation.
3. Can be positioned at planned fresh-air entry points.
4. Supports integration with farm exhaust and environmental controls.
5. Allows outlet orientation to be selected according to the available model.
6. Can serve new livestock equipment projects or suitable renovations.
7. Provides access to cooling media and water components for servicing, subject to installation layout.
8. Permits mounting supports to be designed for the building structure.
9. Can be configured according to local climate and farm conditions.
Structural Components 1. Housing: Encloses the air-moving and water components.
2. Evaporative media: Provides a wetted surface for cooling incoming air.
3. Fan and motor: Move air through the media and toward the supply outlet.
4. Water distributor: Spreads water across the media.
5. Pump and water connection: Supply water according to the selected unit design.
6. Reservoir and drain: Support water circulation and maintenance where applicable.
7. Controls: Manage operation according to the selected configuration.
8. Mounting frame and outlet connection: Support the unit and connect it to the building opening.
Working Principle / Structural Principle

The water system wets the evaporative media. A fan draws warm outdoor air through this surface, where some water evaporates and absorbs heat from the passing air.

The cooler supplies air through the wall opening or its specified outlet route. Exhaust fans or suitable relief openings remove warm, moisture-laden air from the livestock building.

Cooling potential varies with outdoor humidity. The position of each unit and the exhaust arrangement should be determined through the overall ventilation design.

Installation & Maintenance

Before installation: Confirm the wall opening, structural support, outdoor-air intake clearance, indoor supply route, water supply, drainage, electrical connection and access for servicing. Keep the intake away from contaminated exhaust where practicable.

Mounting and commissioning: Have the project engineer verify support loads and fixing details, particularly for a steel structure building. Seal the wall penetration against weather and unwanted air leakage. After connection, check fan operation, water distribution, drainage and the balance between supplied and exhausted air.

Routine maintenance: Inspect and clean the cooling media, water distributor, reservoir and drain according to site conditions. Check the pump, fan and controls, and follow the selected equipment manual for media replacement and seasonal shutdown.

Project Cases

Illustrative pig farm scenario: A project engineer plans wall mounted coolers at selected fresh-air entry points in a new pig house. Exhaust fans and controls are specified alongside the coolers to manage air exchange and moisture.

Illustrative poultry renovation: An existing poultry building receives wall openings and engineered supports for new cooling units. The team reviews the building structure, service access and current ventilation capacity before installation.

Product FAQ 1. What information is needed to select a unit?
Provide the project location, building drawings, wall details, ventilation plan, electrical supply and available water connection.

2. Can it be used in an enclosed pig house?
Yes, when its air supply is matched with suitable exhaust and humidity management.

3. Does the cooler replace exhaust fans?
No. The building needs an appropriate route for used air and moisture to leave.

4. Can it be fitted to an existing building?
It may be possible after checking wall strength, opening dimensions, service access and ventilation capacity.

5. Is a mounting frame required?
The support arrangement depends on the unit and wall structure. It must be verified during project design.

6. What cooling performance should buyers expect?
Performance depends on outdoor temperature, humidity, airflow and installation design. Assess it for the project location.

7. Can multiple units operate together?
Yes. Quantity and placement should follow the building's airflow and exhaust plan.

8. What maintenance is needed?
Check the cooling media, water circuit, pump, drain, fan and controls at intervals appropriate to operating conditions.

9. Are specifications customizable?
Available configurations depend on model selection and are reviewed according to project requirements.
