The Broiler Chick Drinker System is an automatic nipple watering line designed to provide reliable drinking-water access from day-old chick placement through the complete broiler grow-out cycle. The system combines easy-trigger nipple valves, square water pipes, pressure-control equipment, support rails and adjustable suspension equipment into a complete commercial poultry watering solution. The chick-oriented nipple design requires low triggering force and retains a visible water droplet at the activation pin, helping newly placed chicks locate water quickly. As birds grow and apply greater upward force to the pin, the internal metering mechanism can provide increased water flow to match changing consumption requirements. The closed drinking line helps reduce contact between drinking water and litter, feed or airborne contamination compared with open drinking systems. Optional drip cups can collect occasional droplets and support dry litter conditions in environmentally controlled broiler houses. The system is suitable for new poultry projects, steel structure broiler houses and drinking-line renovation projects. | Working Principle / Structural Principle |
Filtered water enters the system through a pressure regulator that reduces and stabilizes the supply pressure before water enters the square drinking pipe. When a chick touches the nipple trigger pin, the internal valve opens and releases water. The low trigger force and side-action capability help young birds activate the nipple during the first days after placement. The internal metering design responds to how strongly the nipple is activated. Young chicks receive smaller quantities of water, while older broilers naturally apply more upward force and receive increased flow as their water demand rises. The regulator controls the water column inside the drinking line. A transparent standpipe with a float ball provides a visual reference for pressure adjustment. During flushing, the system is switched to a higher-flow condition to move water and suspended material rapidly through the pipe toward the flushing end. The complete drinking line is suspended above the litter and raised progressively as birds grow, maintaining the correct relationship between bird height, nipple position and drinking angle. |

| Installation & Maintenance |
Line Layout: Determine the number and spacing of drinking lines according to poultry-house width, flock capacity and feeder-line arrangement. Suspension: Install suspension points at appropriate intervals so the drinking pipe remains straight and stable throughout the house. Day-One Height: Position nipples approximately at chick eye level at placement so newly arrived birds can locate and trigger them easily. Progressive Height Adjustment: Raise the line as chicks grow. During normal grow-out, birds should generally extend the neck upward when drinking rather than drinking from an excessively low nipple. Pressure Adjustment: Set the regulator according to bird age, temperature and litter conditions. Avoid pressure settings that produce persistent dripping or wet floors. Water Filtration: Use suitable filtration upstream of the system to reduce sediment and suspended particles entering drinking equipment. Line Flushing: Flush drinking lines between flocks and as required during production, especially after using compatible water-soluble supplements through the water system. Nipple Inspection: Check nipple movement, droplet formation, abnormal leakage and restricted flow during routine flock inspections.
