| Product Overview |
The Automatic Chick Drinker is a low-level poultry watering solution developed for day-old chicks and young birds during the brooding and early rearing period. Its accessible circular drinking area allows chicks to locate water quickly after placement while an automatic water-control mechanism maintains a consistent drinking level. The compact structure is designed to provide convenient access without requiring frequent manual refilling. Depending on the selected configuration, the drinker can be connected to a low-pressure poultry water line or suitable header-tank supply, allowing multiple drinkers to operate throughout a commercial brooding house. Manufactured from durable, easy-to-clean plastic materials, the system is suitable for broiler chick houses, pullet rearing facilities, breeder rearing houses and steel structure poultry buildings. Drinker quantity, spacing, water connections and pressure-control components can be configured according to project requirements. |

| Working Principle |
The automatic chick drinker is connected to a suitable low-pressure water source. Water enters the drinker through the inlet and is controlled by an internal valve or level-regulating mechanism. When chicks consume water and the level decreases, the control mechanism opens the water inlet and allows fresh water to refill the drinking area. Once the designed operating level is restored, incoming water is restricted automatically. This constant-level principle provides chicks with readily visible and accessible drinking water while reducing the labor associated with manually filling individual chick drinkers. Correct inlet pressure and water-level adjustment are essential for reliable operation. Excessive water pressure can cause overflow, while an insufficient water level may restrict chick access. |

| Product FAQ |
Q1: Can the automatic chick drinker be used from the first day? Yes. Chick-specific automatic drinkers are designed to provide easily accessible water from chick placement when correctly installed and adjusted. Q2: Does the drinker refill automatically? Yes. The water-control mechanism replenishes the drinking area as chicks consume water and maintains the selected operating level. Q3: Does it require a pressure regulator? A regulator is recommended whenever the farm water pressure is higher than the operating range specified for the selected drinker. Q4: Can the system be connected to a header tank? Yes. A correctly designed elevated header tank can provide the low-pressure water supply required by compatible automatic drinkers. Q5: How many drinkers are required for a poultry house? The quantity depends on chick numbers, drinker capacity, brooding layout, stocking density and applicable poultry management standards. Q6: How can wet litter around the drinker be reduced? Maintain the correct inlet pressure and water level, inspect valves for leakage and position drinkers on stable, level surfaces. Q7: Can medication or vitamins be supplied through the system? Yes. Compatible dosing equipment can be installed upstream according to the farm's drinking-water and medication program. Q8: Can SHEWUYOU provide a complete chick watering layout? Yes. Drinker quantity, water pipes, pressure regulation, filtration, dosing equipment and installation accessories can be configured according to project requirements. |
