Working Principle

The waterer connects to a pressurized livestock water line. As calves drink, the water level falls and the float-controlled valve opens automatically. Fresh water enters the trough until the normal operating level is restored.

During cold weather, the temperature-control system monitors water conditions. The infrared heat pad activates when the water becomes sufficiently cold and transfers controlled heat to the drinking-water area.

Once the water temperature rises above the thermostat's upper operating threshold, the heating system switches off automatically. Thick insulation reduces heat loss and therefore limits unnecessary electrical consumption.

Installation & Maintenance
