| Product Overview |
The JUMBO-T Bell Drinker is a heavy-duty automatic round drinker developed for turkey production, particularly for growing and finishing birds with higher daily water demand. Its large circular drinking rim provides open-water access around the complete circumference, allowing many birds to drink simultaneously. The suspended bell-shaped construction combines an automatic water valve with an independent ballast tank. Because the ballast load is carried by the suspension system rather than directly by the valve, the water level can be adjusted accurately while the drinker remains stable during contact with large birds. A narrow water jet flows along the bell surface toward the drinking rim. This design helps keep the bell cleaner and reduces splash over the edge, supporting drier litter and better environmental conditions in commercial turkey houses. The drinker can be integrated into regulated poultry water-supply systems in conventional livestock buildings and modern steel structure poultry houses. Water connections, suspension hardware and drinker spacing can be configured according to project requirements. |

| Working Principle / Structural Principle |
The JUMBO-T is connected to a regulated poultry water supply through a flexible hose. Water enters the upper valve assembly and is directed downward along the outer surface of the bell into the circular drinking rim. As turkeys consume water, the mechanical control system allows additional water to enter the drinker. When the preset water depth is restored, the valve reduces or stops the incoming flow. The ballast tank stabilizes the suspended drinker during contact with large birds. Because the ballast is incorporated into the suspension structure rather than loading the valve directly, the drinking level remains easier to control accurately. The drinker is normally suspended at a height appropriate for the birds. As the flock grows, the suspension height can be adjusted so birds have convenient access without excessive splashing or litter contamination. |

| Applications |
The JUMBO-T configuration is particularly suitable for turkey houses where large birds require robust equipment, generous open-water access and a stable drinking unit capable of withstanding frequent contact. For complete poultry projects, bell drinkers can be coordinated with automatic turkey feeding lines, water filtration, pressure regulators, medicators, ventilation, heating and environmental-control equipment. |

| Installation & Maintenance |
Water Pressure: Connect the drinker to a regulated supply within the operating range specified for the selected configuration. A pressure reducer should be installed where incoming pressure is excessive. Suspension: Hang the drinker securely and vertically from the poultry-house support structure. The suspension assembly must be capable of supporting both the drinker and filled ballast tank. Ballast: Fill and secure the ballast tank according to installation requirements to provide sufficient stability during contact with heavy turkeys. Water-Level Adjustment: Set the valve mechanism so the water depth remains suitable for the flock. The comparable JUMBO-T reference recommends approximately 10–20 mm. Drinker Height: Adjust the suspension height according to bird age and body size to support convenient water access while minimizing spillage. Daily Inspection: Check the drinking rim, valve, hose and suspension components for leakage, contamination or abnormal movement. Routine Cleaning: Remove feed particles, litter and organic material from the open drinking rim regularly. Valve Maintenance: Inspect the valve insert, stem, spring and adjustment mechanism periodically for wear, deposits or restricted movement. Between Flocks: Thoroughly clean and disinfect the bell body, ballast tank, valve assembly and water-supply components before the next flock. |

| Project Cases |
In commercial turkey finishing houses, JUMBO-T style bell drinkers can be arranged along the production area to provide high-capacity open-water access for large birds. For heavy tom production, drinker quantity should be calculated according to bird weight, climate and applicable welfare requirements. Bird numbers per drinker may need to be reduced in hot climates or for exceptionally heavy birds. In new steel structure turkey houses, drinking-point locations, suspension supports and water-distribution pipelines can be coordinated with feed lines, ventilation equipment and service-room water controls during project planning. |
