Product Overview

The Plastic Piglet Creep Feeder is a compact supplemental feeding pan designed for suckling piglets in farrowing pens. Its wide circular bowl provides easy access for several young pigs while helping introduce creep feed and starter ration before weaning.

Internal dividers create separate feeding spaces and discourage piglets from standing inside the bowl. The smooth plastic construction has no difficult internal corners, supporting fast cleaning and improved hygiene between litters.

A central handle and floor-hook system secures the feeder to compatible slatted flooring, reducing tipping and allowing quick removal for filling, washing or relocation.

Key Features
  • Designed for supplemental creep feeding of suckling piglets.
  • Wide circular bowl allows several piglets to feed simultaneously.
  • Low feeding edge provides easy access for young animals.
  • Multiple dividers create organized feeding spaces.
  • Divider design helps prevent piglets from standing in the feed.
  • Durable plastic construction is corrosion-resistant and easy to handle.
  • Smooth rounded surfaces simplify washing and disinfection.
  • Secure floor-hook mounting helps prevent tipping and feed loss.
  • Arrow-marked handle simplifies hook positioning during installation.
  • Suitable for common metal, plastic and compatible slatted flooring.
  • Can be used for starter feed and compatible liquid feeding applications.
Structural Components
  • Plastic Feed Pan: Wide circular bowl for creep feed or starter ration.
  • Concave Feeding Rim: Helps retain feed while maintaining easy piglet access.
  • Internal Dividers: Separate feeding positions and reduce contamination.
  • Central Support: Connects the bowl, dividers and mounting mechanism.
  • Top Handle: Provides convenient one-hand installation and removal.
  • Direction Indicator: Shows the orientation of the floor hook.
  • Floor Hook: Secures the feeder to compatible livestock flooring.
Structural Principle

A small quantity of creep or starter feed is placed in the circular pan. Piglets approach the feeder from around its perimeter and feed through the divided openings.

The central hook passes through the slatted floor opening and rotates beneath the flooring to lock the feeder in position. This helps prevent piglets or the sow from overturning the pan.

The feeder can be unlocked using the top handle when feed needs to be replenished or when the pan is removed for cleaning and disinfection.
