| Product Overview | The Outdoor Solar Mosquito Trap is a compact, energy-efficient insect control device designed for outdoor livestock farm areas, farm entrances, staff walkways, equipment zones, yards and other locations where mosquitoes and flying insects are a recurring problem. During daylight hours, the integrated solar module charges the rechargeable battery. At dusk, an automatic light sensor activates the UV LED, which attracts mosquitoes, flies, moths and other light-sensitive flying insects toward the trap. When insects reach the internal electrically charged grid, they are eliminated by high voltage. The solar-powered configuration reduces the need for permanent electrical wiring, making the unit particularly suitable for localized mosquito-control points around livestock facilities and agricultural sites where mains power is inconvenient. The compact unit can be installed using a ground stake or placed on a suitable flat surface, allowing flexible deployment around pig farms, poultry farms, cattle facilities and other agricultural projects. |

| Working Principle | During the day, sunlight reaches the solar charging surface and replenishes the internal rechargeable battery. The stored energy is then used to operate the UV light and insect-control system after dark. When the surrounding light level drops at dusk, the integrated sensor automatically activates the UV LED. Mosquitoes, flies, moths and other light-responsive flying insects are attracted toward the illuminated area. After entering the protected interior of the device, insects contact the electrically charged high-voltage grid and are eliminated. The protective outer structure helps prevent users from accidentally touching the internal grid during normal use. The reference system can provide up to approximately eight hours of nighttime illumination after sufficient solar charging conditions. |

| Installation & Maintenance | Select an outdoor position that receives adequate direct sunlight during the day and is located near the target mosquito activity area. Avoid installing the unit where buildings, trees or equipment continuously shade the solar charging surface. For ground installation, insert the stake firmly into stable soil. For tabletop installation, place the unit on a stable horizontal surface where it cannot easily fall or be contacted by livestock. Keep the solar charging surface clean so that dust and farm debris do not reduce charging efficiency. Periodically inspect the protective housing and insect-control grid and clean accumulated insects only after the unit has been switched off. Do not touch the internal high-voltage grid during operation. The unit should not be used in flammable or explosive atmospheres. Electrical servicing should only be performed after the device has been disconnected and the required discharge time has elapsed. |

| Product FAQ | Q: Does the mosquito trap require mains electricity? A: During normal solar operation, the rechargeable battery is charged by sunlight, so permanent mains wiring is not required. Q: Does the trap switch on automatically at night? A: Yes. The reference configuration uses a dusk sensor that automatically activates the UV LED when it becomes dark. Q: What insects can the unit control? A: It is designed to attract mosquitoes, flies, moths and other flying insects that respond to the UV light source. Q: Does it require insecticide? A: No routine chemical insecticide is required for the electrical insect-control function. Q: Can it be used outdoors? A: Yes. The reference configuration has an IP24 splash-water protection rating and is intended for suitable indoor and outdoor locations. Q: How long can the unit operate at night? A: The reference product can provide up to approximately eight hours of nighttime operation following sufficient battery charging. Q: Can it be charged without sunlight? A: The reference configuration also includes a USB charging connection for supplementary charging. Q: Is one trap sufficient for an entire livestock farm? A: No. The reference effective area is approximately 45 m², so larger farms should use multiple units positioned at selected mosquito activity points. |
