| Product Overview | The Heavy-Duty Professional Rat Snap Trap is a reusable mechanical rodent control device developed for intensive pest management programs in livestock farms, commercial agricultural buildings, feed storage facilities and related industrial environments. Its robust snap-action structure combines a sensitive trigger area, powerful closing mechanism and gripping jaw profile to provide dependable rat capture without relying on rodenticide bait. The trap is particularly suitable for commercial pig farms, poultry houses, cattle facilities, feed mills, warehouses, equipment rooms and steel structure farm buildings where reliable rodent control is an important part of biosecurity and facility management. |

| Working Principle | A small amount of suitable attractant is placed in the bait area and the snap mechanism is carefully armed. The trap is then positioned directly along an established rat runway or another location showing rodent activity. When the animal enters the trigger zone and applies sufficient pressure to the trigger mechanism, the spring-loaded jaw closes rapidly. For large livestock projects, multiple traps can be deployed as part of an integrated rodent management layout around feed rooms, wall lines, service corridors, utility spaces and external perimeter points. |

| Installation & Maintenance | Identify active rat pathways by checking for droppings, gnawing marks, tracks and greasy rub marks. Place the trap beside walls, structural columns, feed storage zones or other established travel routes. Where traps may be accessible to livestock, workers, pets or wildlife, installation inside an appropriate protective rat station is recommended. Traps positioned on pipes, beams or elevated structural members should be securely fastened. Inspect traps regularly. Wear suitable protective gloves when handling traps, rodents or contaminated material. After use, remove debris, clean the trap according to the site's hygiene procedure, inspect the spring and trigger mechanism, and replace any damaged components or traps before redeployment. |
