Working Principle / Structural Principle

The reader generates a low-frequency electromagnetic field through the antenna located near the front of the stick. When a compatible electronic livestock transponder enters the reading zone, the passive RFID tag responds by transmitting its encoded identification number.

The reader decodes the signal and displays the animal ID. A successful read can be confirmed through the screen, indicator light, audible signal and handle vibration.

The identification record can be stored in the reader and transferred through Bluetooth, USB or another supported communication interface to compatible livestock-management equipment and software.
