| Product Overview |
The RFID Stick Reader for Cattle is a rugged portable electronic identification reader designed for fast scanning of cattle RFID ear tags and compatible livestock transponders. Its elongated antenna section allows operators to read animal IDs from a practical working distance while maintaining safer separation from cattle in chutes, yards and handling facilities. The reader supports ISO-compatible HDX and FDX-B livestock identification technologies and can store animal IDs together with time stamps and additional management information. A large backlit color display, audible signals, vibration alerts and LED indicators provide clear operating feedback in noisy or low-light livestock environments. With USB, Bluetooth and wireless communication options, the reader can transfer animal identification data to computers, mobile devices, electronic scales and compatible herd-management platforms. It is suitable for dairy farms, beef operations, feedlots, breeding centers, livestock markets and large agricultural identification projects. |

| Working Principle |
The stick reader generates a low-frequency RFID field through the antenna at the end of the reader. When a compatible electronic cattle ear tag or livestock transponder enters the reading zone, the transponder responds with its programmed identification number. The electronic ID is displayed on the reader screen and can be stored together with a time stamp or additional animal information. Audible, visual and vibration signals can confirm that the identification number has been captured successfully. Stored records can then be transferred to compatible herd-management software, electronic weighing systems, mobile devices or farm computers for animal traceability, breeding records, treatment history, weighing and inventory management. |
