| Working Principle / Structural Principle |
The handheld reader generates a 134.2 kHz electromagnetic field through its internal antenna. When a compatible electronic cattle ear tag enters the reading zone, the passive transponder is activated and transmits its encoded identification number back to the reader. The device decodes the RFID signal and displays the individual animal number. A successful read can also be confirmed through LED, sound and vibration feedback. Identification records can be stored internally and later transferred through USB or Bluetooth to a compatible computer, smartphone, livestock scale or herd-management platform. This reduces manual transcription errors and supports more efficient livestock traceability. |
