| Product Overview |
The Digital Brooder Temperature Controller is designed to monitor brooding-area temperature and automatically regulate electric heaters, infrared lamps, brooders or compatible heating equipment. A digital display provides clear temperature information, while an external probe measures conditions at the selected bird-level monitoring point. The controller can be used as a stand-alone thermostat for individual brooders or incorporated into a larger poultry climate-control system. Advanced project configurations can coordinate heating stages, temperature curves and other environmental functions according to bird age and production requirements. |

| Working Principle |
The external temperature probe continuously measures conditions in the brooding area and sends the reading to the digital controller. The measured temperature is compared with the programmed heating start and stop values. When temperature falls below the heating start threshold, the controller activates the connected brooder or heater. When the stop temperature is reached, the controller switches the heating output off or reduces heat output, depending on the selected control configuration. In advanced poultry-house controllers, brooder set points can also follow age-based temperature curves, staged heating logic or proportional 0-10V output for more precise climate management. |

| Installation & Maintenance |
Install the controller in a dry and accessible location protected from direct radiant heat, water spray and excessive dust. The housing should be positioned where farm personnel can read the display and adjust settings conveniently. Place the temperature probe at a representative chick-level position. Avoid locations immediately below a heat lamp, beside an air inlet or against a cold wall because these positions may not represent average brooding conditions. Verify that the connected heater load does not exceed the controller or relay rating. Higher-capacity brooder systems should use correctly sized contactors, relays or control modules according to the electrical design. Disconnect electrical power before servicing. Regular maintenance should include checking the probe, wiring, terminals, display, output relay and controller response. Replace damaged probes or electrical components before the next production cycle. |

| Product FAQ |
Q: What does a digital brooder temperature controller do? A: It measures brooding-area temperature and automatically controls compatible heating equipment according to programmed settings. Q: Can it control infrared heat lamps? A: Yes. A correctly rated controller or relay system can be used with compatible infrared poultry heat lamps. Q: Where should the temperature sensor be installed? A: The sensor should be positioned close to bird level at a representative location away from direct heater radiation and strong incoming airflow. Q: Can the temperature setting change automatically as chicks grow? A: Advanced poultry climate controllers can use age-based temperature curves to adjust brooder operating temperatures automatically. Q: Can one controller operate several brooders? A: Yes. Multiple heaters can be controlled when the switching equipment, electrical capacity and heating-zone design are sized correctly. Q: Is remote monitoring available? A: Remote temperature and equipment monitoring can be provided with compatible farm controllers and communication systems. Q: Can the controller be customized for different countries? A: Yes. Voltage, frequency, sensor configuration, output capacity and control functions can be selected according to project requirements. |
