Working Principle

The external temperature probe continuously measures conditions in the brooding area and sends the reading to the digital controller. The measured temperature is compared with the programmed heating start and stop values.

When temperature falls below the heating start threshold, the controller activates the connected brooder or heater. When the stop temperature is reached, the controller switches the heating output off or reduces heat output, depending on the selected control configuration.

Installation & Maintenance

Install the controller in a dry and accessible location protected from direct radiant heat, water spray and excessive dust. The housing should be positioned where farm personnel can read the display and adjust settings conveniently.
