The drinking bowl is connected directly to the livestock water supply line. When the animal presses the operating flap with its muzzle, the movement opens the internal valve and fresh water enters the bowl. A flow regulation mechanism controls the amount of water delivered. Depending on the selected valve configuration, the water supply can be adjusted from a reduced flow to a higher replenishment rate according to livestock demand and pipeline pressure. When the animal releases the flap, the spring-loaded valve returns to the closed position and stops the water supply. This simple mechanical principle provides fresh water on demand without requiring electricity. |
