| Working Principle |
When animals consume water and the trough level drops, the float moves downward and activates the pilot valve. The pressure balance across the main diaphragm changes, opening the main water passage and allowing the trough to refill at a high flow rate.
As the water rises, the float returns toward its preset position. The pilot passage closes, pressure is restored across the diaphragm, and the main valve gradually shuts off. This automatic cycle maintains the required drinking water level without electrical controls. |
