| Product Overview |
The Diaphragm Pig Water Level Controller is a non-electric automatic water regulator designed to maintain a stable water level in pig drinking bowls, troughs and compatible through-feeding systems.
A flexible diaphragm responds to changes in air and water pressure, automatically opening the inlet when the water level falls and closing it when the preset level is restored. This simple mechanical principle provides continuous water availability without electrical sensors or float arms inside the drinking area. |

| Working Principle / Structural Principle |
The controller uses an air-diaphragm water-level principle. The lower end of the sensing or outlet tube is positioned at the required water level inside the drinking bowl or trough.
When pigs drink and the water surface falls below the tube opening, air enters the control chamber and the diaphragm allows water to flow into the drinking area. As the water rises and covers the tube opening, the pressure condition changes and the diaphragm closes the inlet. The cycle repeats automatically as pigs consume water, maintaining the drinking level without electrical control equipment. |

| Installation & Maintenance |
Install the controller above or beside the drinking trough according to the selected system layout. Connect the inlet to the clean-water supply and position the lower end of the sensing or outlet tube at the required water level.
An individual ball valve should be installed upstream so the controller can be isolated for maintenance. Flush new pipelines before commissioning and use suitable filtration where water contains sediment. Periodically inspect the diaphragm, sealing surfaces, inlet valve, pipe connections and sensing tube. Remove mineral deposits or debris and replace worn diaphragm components when necessary. |

| Product FAQ |
Q: Does the water level controller require electricity? A: No. It operates mechanically through diaphragm, atmospheric-pressure and water-pressure changes. Q: How does it maintain a constant water level? A: When the water drops below the sensing-tube opening, the controller replenishes the trough. When water reaches the preset level, the diaphragm closes the inlet automatically. Q: Can the water level be adjusted? A: Yes. The target level can be set through the installation position and sensing or outlet tube configuration. Q: Why is a ball valve installed before the controller? A: The ball valve allows one controller to be isolated for cleaning or maintenance without shutting down the complete pig-house water system. Q: What drinking equipment can it be used with? A: It can be integrated with compatible pig drinking bowls, troughs, pen drinking basins and gestation through-feeding systems. Q: Can complete water-level control assemblies be supplied? A: Yes. Controllers, valves, pipes, sensing tubes, fittings and drinking trough components can be configured according to project requirements. |
