| Product Overview | The Float-Free Membrane Water Level Valve is designed to automatically regulate water levels in livestock drinking troughs and tanks without conventional floats, electronic sensors or electrical power. A flexible membrane responds to water-level and pressure changes to control water replenishment. The compact valve head can be connected to a smooth water pipe, providing a simple solution for commercial pig drinking systems, group pens and trough watering installations. |

| Working Principle / Structural Principle | The valve uses membrane-operated water-level control instead of a mechanical float. When the water level in the trough falls, the pressure condition acting on the membrane changes and the valve allows fresh water to enter. As the trough refills to the selected operating level, the membrane responds and closes the inlet. This cycle repeats automatically as animals consume water, maintaining a relatively constant drinking level without electrical control equipment. |

| Installation & Maintenance | Install the valve in a protected position above the livestock drinking area and connect it to a compatible water-supply pipe. Set the outlet or regulating arrangement according to the required trough water level. Flush new water lines before commissioning and use suitable filtration where sediment may be present. Periodically inspect the membrane, regulating port, pipe connections and valve seat. The retaining clips allow the valve head to be opened without tools for membrane inspection or replacement. |

| Product FAQ | Q: Does this valve use a conventional float? A: No. The water level is controlled by a membrane-based valve system without a conventional float mechanism. Q: Does it require electricity? A: No. The controller operates mechanically and does not require electrical sensors or external power. Q: What is the reference working pressure? A: The reference Euro Valve configuration is specified for approximately 7-50 psi working water pressure. Q: Can the valve be opened for maintenance without tools? A: Yes. The reference design uses four retaining clips that can be removed to access the internal membrane. Q: Can the installation direction be adjusted? A: Yes. The rear regulating port of the reference configuration can rotate 360° for flexible positioning. Q: Can complete water-level control systems be supplied? A: Yes. Valves, pipes, filters, shutoff valves, fittings, troughs and mounting components can be configured according to project requirements. |
