Product Overview

The Disposable Veterinary Micro Blood Collection Tube is designed for small-volume blood sampling, serum preparation and laboratory testing in livestock and veterinary applications. Its compact 1 ml capacity is suitable for diagnostic procedures where only a limited blood sample is required.

The tube contains separator gel and clot activator to support efficient blood clotting and serum separation after centrifugation. A pre-set collection system and scoop-shaped inlet help simplify sample collection and improve handling efficiency in veterinary clinics, laboratories and commercial livestock farms.

Key Features
  • Micro-Volume Collection: 1 ml capacity is suitable for veterinary tests requiring only a small quantity of blood.
  • Separator Gel: Forms a physical barrier between serum and blood cells after centrifugation.
  • Clot Activator: Supports efficient clot formation and serum preparation for laboratory analysis.
  • Pre-Set Collection Design: Helps achieve controlled and convenient blood collection.
  • Scoop-Shaped Inlet: Designed to facilitate transfer of small blood samples into the tube.
  • Secure Closure: Helps reduce leakage and contamination during handling, transport and sample processing.
  • Disposable Design: Intended for single-use sampling to support laboratory hygiene and biosecurity.
  • Veterinary Application: Suitable for animal health testing, disease monitoring and routine laboratory diagnostics.
Working Principle

A small blood sample is introduced into the collection tube through the collection inlet. The clot activator promotes coagulation. After the specimen has clotted and is centrifuged, the separator gel forms a stable barrier between the serum and cellular components, allowing the serum layer to be used for subsequent veterinary laboratory testing.
