Structural Components The analyzer consists of an IP67 handheld meter body, multi-level LCD, dual control buttons, bottom-mounted probe connection, replaceable two-ring EC/TDS probe, integrated temperature sensor and flexible probe cable.

The two-ring graphite sensing probe is designed for high-range conductivity and TDS measurement. Its construction helps resist clogging and allows convenient cleaning during routine field service.

The probe incorporates a temperature sensor so EC and TDS measurements can be automatically compensated for sample temperature. The bottom probe connection keeps the cable away from the main operating area and supports comfortable handheld testing.

Working Principle / Structural Principle Electrical conductivity (EC) indicates the ability of a water sample to conduct electrical current, which is influenced by dissolved ionic substances. Installation & Maintenance No permanent installation is required. Connect the probe securely to the meter, rinse the sensing area with clean or deionized water and immerse the probe into a representative water sample.

Keep the two-ring sensing area away from the container wall and bottom. Gently move the probe through the sample and wait for the stability indication before recording the EC, TDS or temperature reading.

Calibrate the instrument regularly using the appropriate EC or TDS calibration standard. The referenced configuration supports automatic one-point calibration at 12.88 mS/cm, or direct TDS calibration at applicable standards depending on the selected conversion factor.

Rinse the probe after testing and between different samples to minimize cross-contamination. Inspect and clean the sensing rings regularly when the instrument is used in water containing suspended matter or mineral deposits.
