| Working Principle / Structural Principle |
A compatible bolus is loaded into the spring-loaded retaining tip. The animal is then restrained appropriately and the straight applicator is introduced carefully through the mouth according to the bolus manufacturer's administration instructions. After correct positioning is achieved, the operator advances the rear plunger. The internal push rod moves forward and releases the bolus from the rubber tip so that the animal can swallow it. The applicator is then withdrawn carefully and the animal should be observed to confirm normal swallowing. Important: Bolus dimensions, animal size and dosing procedure must always comply with the instructions for the specific veterinary or nutritional product being administered. The applicator should never be forced. |
