| Product Overview |
The Multi-Bolus Sheep Applicator is a reusable veterinary dosing tool developed for efficient oral administration of compatible mineral, trace-element, vitamin and other approved bolus products to goat-farming-equipment/" target="_blank" class="keylink">sheep. Unlike a conventional single-bolus applicator that must be reloaded for every tablet, a multi-bolus design can incorporate a tubular magazine or extended bolus holder. Compatible cylindrical boluses are loaded into the tube and advanced by the applicator mechanism, reducing repeated loading during flock treatment. Professional multi-bolus applicators are available in configurations capable of administering one, two or three compatible tablets during a single dosing action. The exact number of boluses, bolus diameter and animal suitability depend on the selected applicator configuration and the instructions supplied with the bolus product. The applicator is suitable for commercial sheep farms, breeding operations, finishing units, veterinary livestock services and agricultural equipment distributors where efficient flock supplementation is required. |

| Working Principle / Structural Principle |
Compatible cylindrical boluses are loaded into the applicator magazine tube. Depending on the applicator and bolus specification, one or more tablets can be positioned for administration during each operating cycle. After the sheep has been restrained correctly, the applicator is introduced carefully through the mouth according to the bolus manufacturer's instructions. The delivery tube is positioned without excessive force. Operating the trigger or lever advances the internal push rod. The required bolus or boluses are discharged from the delivery end so that the animal can swallow them. The spring mechanism then returns the plunger system and prepares the applicator for the next operating cycle. When a magazine-type system is used, additional loaded boluses remain available for subsequent animals. Important: Applicator diameter, bolus size, number of boluses and minimum sheep liveweight must always comply with the instructions supplied with the specific bolus product. Never force an applicator into the throat. |

| Product FAQ |
Q1: What is a multi-bolus sheep applicator? It is an oral livestock dosing tool that can store multiple compatible boluses in a tubular magazine, reducing the need to reload the applicator before every animal. Q2: Does AGIP manufacture a multi-bolus applicator? AGIP lists a Multibolus Gun under product code AI-BG-03 within its veterinary balling-gun range and also lists a Twin Bolus Head Applicator. Q3: How many boluses can be administered at once? The number depends on the applicator and bolus system. Comparable professional multi-bolus models are designed to administer one, two or three compatible tablets in a single operating action. Q4: What size applicator is suitable for sheep? One comparable professional sheep configuration uses a 275 mm long, 17 mm diameter tube for tablets approximately 14-16.5 mm in diameter. The selected applicator must always match the actual bolus specification. Q5: Why use a magazine-style applicator? A magazine allows several boluses to be loaded before flock processing begins, which can reduce repeated handling and improve operator efficiency during large treatment sessions. Q6: What is the purpose of a flexible rubber tip? In compatible designs, the flexible tip can accommodate a limited range of tablet diameters while also covering the rigid metal tube edge during administration. Q7: Can different bolus sizes be used in the same applicator? Only bolus sizes specifically compatible with the applicator tube and delivery tip should be used. Never assume that a different tablet will fit safely. Q8: Can the applicator be used for veterinary tablets as well as mineral boluses? Yes, selected multi-bolus applicators are designed for compatible ruminant tablets including mineral, trace-element, vitamin or approved veterinary bolus products. Q9: Is the applicator suitable for high-volume commercial sheep farms? Yes. The magazine-loading concept is particularly useful when many sheep must receive compatible bolus products during the same flock-processing session. Q10: Can SHEWUYOU supply customized bolus applicators? Yes. Tube dimensions, bolus holder configuration, handle design, replacement components and export packaging can be supplied according to project requirements. |
