| Product Overview |
The Interchangeable Head Sheep Bolus Applicator is a reusable manual dosing tool designed for oral administration of compatible mineral, trace-element and nutritional boluses to goat-farming-equipment/" target="_blank" class="keylink">sheep and lambs. Its key advantage is the interchangeable screw-on applicator head system. Different bolus-retaining cups can be fitted to a common applicator body, allowing one dosing tool to accommodate several approved sheep and lamb bolus formats when the correct head is selected. The reference Agrimin system uses interchangeable Cup A, Cup B and Cup C heads across selected sheep and lamb products. This modular arrangement can reduce the number of complete applicators required on farms that operate several mineral supplementation programs. The applicator is suitable for commercial sheep farms, breeding operations, finishing units, veterinary livestock services, distributors and agricultural projects requiring durable, serviceable flock-health equipment. |

| Working Principle / Structural Principle |
The operator first selects the applicator cup specified for the intended bolus and screws it securely onto the applicator body. The bolus is then loaded into the retaining head. After the animal has been safely restrained, the applicator is introduced carefully through the mouth in accordance with the bolus manufacturer's instructions. Once correct positioning is achieved, the trigger is activated and the push rod releases the bolus from the cup. After withdrawal, the animal should be observed to ensure normal swallowing. When changing to another compatible bolus program, the current cup can be unscrewed and replaced with the appropriate head. Important: Always match the applicator head, bolus size, animal liveweight and administration procedure to the instructions supplied with the specific bolus product. |

| Product FAQ |
Q1: What is the main advantage of an interchangeable-head bolus applicator? It allows one compatible applicator body to use different bolus-retaining cups, reducing the need to purchase and store separate complete dosing guns for every compatible bolus size. Q2: Are Agrimin sheep and lamb applicator cups interchangeable? Yes. Agrimin states that the screw-on adapter heads or cups in its compatible sheep and lamb applicator range are interchangeable. Q3: What heads are used in the reference system? The referenced range includes Cup A for selected adult sheep products, Cup B for selected sheep copper products and Cup C for selected lamb products. Q4: Can any head be used with any bolus? No. The applicator cup must match the specific bolus dimensions and the bolus manufacturer's administration instructions. Q5: Can the same applicator be used for both sheep and lambs? A compatible interchangeable system can serve both groups when the correct approved head and bolus are selected for the animal's size and liveweight. Q6: Does animal liveweight matter? Yes. Bolus products have specific minimum liveweight and physiological requirements. These instructions must be checked before administration. Q7: Are replacement heads available separately? Yes. Compatible adapter cups can be supplied separately so damaged heads can be replaced or additional bolus formats can be accommodated. Q8: How should different heads be stored? Keep them clean, dry and clearly identified by size or application so the correct cup can be selected during flock processing. Q9: Is the applicator suitable for commercial flock processing? Yes. The reusable modular design is well suited to farms that administer different bolus products to several sheep and lamb groups. Q10: Can SHEWUYOU provide customized applicator sets? Yes. Applicator bodies, interchangeable cup combinations, replacement components and export packaging can be supplied according to project requirements. |
