Product Overview
The Duck & Goose Feeder Pan is designed for automatic feeding lines used in commercial waterfowl production. The feeder provides a practical feeding area for ducks and geese while supporting automatic feed delivery, controlled feed presentation and efficient daily farm management.
Installed beneath a feed conveying tube, each pan receives feed from the automatic auger system and distributes it around the feeding area. The circular structure allows birds to approach the feeder from multiple directions while maintaining convenient access throughout different growth stages.
The feeder pan can be incorporated into livestock equipment packages for commercial duck farms, goose farms, floor-reared poultry houses and steel structure poultry buildings. Pan configuration, feed-line layout and accessories can be selected according to project requirements.

Key Features
- Waterfowl-oriented feeding: Suitable configurations provide convenient feed access for ducks and geese in floor-reared poultry houses.
- Automatic feed delivery: Designed for connection with auger-based poultry feeding lines.
- Multi-direction feeding access: Circular pan geometry allows birds to feed around the perimeter.
- Adjustable feed presentation: Feed level can be selected according to bird age, feed type and farm management requirements.
- Feed-saving design: Raised pan edges and controlled feed distribution help reduce unnecessary feed spillage.
- Durable construction: Engineering plastic components provide corrosion resistance for demanding poultry-house environments.
- Easy sanitation: Smooth and accessible surfaces simplify washing and routine cleaning.
- Flexible project integration: Suitable for new poultry farm construction and upgrades of existing automatic feeding systems.

|
Working Principle
Feed is transferred from a silo or central hopper to the poultry feeding line. A motor-driven auger moves the feed through the conveying tube and supplies individual feeder pans positioned along the house.
Feed enters the central section of each pan and is distributed into the accessible feeding area. Ducks or geese can approach the pan from multiple sides, while the feeder structure helps retain feed inside the pan.
The suspended feeding line can be adjusted as the birds grow. Depending on the system configuration, an end control pan or feed-level sensor can automatically start and stop the feed conveying system.

Installation & Maintenance
Installation: Feeder pans are mounted beneath the automatic feed tube at designed intervals. The complete line is normally suspended from suitable roof or steel structure building supports.
Height Adjustment: Feeding height should be adjusted according to bird age and body size so ducks and geese can reach the feed comfortably while limiting contamination from litter.
Cleaning: Accessible plastic surfaces simplify routine washing. The complete feeding line can be raised during poultry-house cleaning and flock changeover.
Maintenance: Regular inspection should include feeder pans, feed outlets, auger components, suspension cables, tube connections and feed sensors.
