Product Overview

The Pullet Feeder Pan is a specialized poultry feeding component for broiler breeder pullet rearing. It is designed to provide consistent feed access, controlled ration presentation and efficient use of poultry house floor space during the important rearing period.

Installed on an automatic auger feeding line, the feeder works with feed tubes, conveying augers, suspension equipment and control components to distribute feed throughout the breeder house. The circular feeding area allows multiple pullets to eat around each pan while supporting uniform flock development.

The system is suitable for commercial breeder farms, parent-stock rearing facilities, steel structure poultry houses and complete livestock equipment projects. Feeder configuration, line layout and accessories can be customized according to bird management requirements and project conditions.

Key Features
  • Uniform feed distribution: Automatic auger delivery provides consistent feed supply to feeder pans throughout the poultry house.
  • Comfortable bird access: Open feeding positions around the pan provide convenient access for breeder pullets.
  • Early-stage accessibility: Low feeding areas can support convenient feed access during early pullet rearing.
  • Reduced feed waste: Feed-retaining pan structures and controlled feed presentation help keep dropped feed within the feeding area.
  • Efficient floor-space use: Pan feeding layouts can accommodate multiple birds while maintaining clear movement space between feeding lines.
  • Automatic feeding compatibility: Suitable for straight-line or loop auger feeding systems according to project requirements.
  • Durable construction: Engineering plastic feeder components resist corrosion and routine poultry-house cleaning conditions.
  • Adjustable installation: Suspended feeding lines can be raised as birds grow and lifted during house cleaning.
Structural Components
  • Feeder pan body
  • Bird access grill
  • Feed cone and feed distribution components
  • Feed-retaining fins or pan sections
  • Feed tube connection assembly
  • Suspension and height adjustment components
  • Automatic auger feed tube interface
  • Optional control pan and feed sensing accessories
Working Principle

Feed is supplied from the farm feed storage and conveying system to the automatic pullet feeding line. A rotating auger transports the ration through the feed tube and delivers feed to the individual pans.

The feeder distributes the ration around the pan so multiple pullets can access feed at the same time. Controlled feed presentation helps support uniform feeding during scheduled breeder-rearing feeding cycles.

As the pullets grow, the suspended feeding line can be adjusted to a suitable working height. Automatic control pans and feed sensors can be integrated according to the feeding-system configuration.

Installation & Maintenance

Installation: Pullet feeder pans are mounted along the automatic feed tube and suspended from suitable poultry-house structural supports. Feeding lines should be positioned according to the approved farm layout and flock management plan.

Adjustment: Feeding height should be adjusted as pullets grow to maintain convenient access and appropriate feeding posture.

Cleaning: Smooth plastic surfaces simplify routine washing, while suspended lines can be raised during litter removal and poultry-house sanitation.

Maintenance: Regular inspection should include feeder pans, grills, feed tube connections, auger components, suspension equipment and automatic control devices.
