Product Name Portable Veterinary Micro Centrifuge
Product Image portable veterinary micro centrifuge
Product Overview The Portable Veterinary Micro Centrifuge is a compact benchtop centrifugation solution for small-volume sample processing in veterinary laboratories, animal health facilities and livestock diagnostic workstations. Its lightweight construction and compact footprint make it practical where laboratory bench space is limited or equipment needs to be relocated between workstations.

The centrifuge uses a brushless motor designed for long service life and reduced routine motor maintenance. A transparent hinged lid provides visibility of the rotor area, while the compact housing supports straightforward placement on laboratory benches.

The product series includes WTL-4K, WTL-6K and WTL-10K configurations, with maximum speeds of 4,000, 6,000 and 10,000 RPM respectively. Maximum RCF is 900 × g, 2,000 × g and 5,000 × g according to the selected configuration.

For commercial pig farms, livestock production groups, veterinary clinics and centralized animal health laboratories, the unit can be integrated into small-volume sample preparation workflows. Model selection, rotor configuration and accessories are Customizable and Available upon request.

Structural Components The Portable Veterinary Micro Centrifuge is built around a compact equipment housing, microtube rotor, brushless motor drive, transparent protective lid, hinged lid mechanism, tube holders and internal electrical control components.

The rotor system is designed for small-volume microcentrifuge tubes. Depending on the selected configuration, the equipment can accommodate 0.2 mL, 0.5 mL and 1.5 mL tubes. The WTL-6K configuration additionally supports an 8-position 0.2 mL tube arrangement.

Main structural elements include:
  • Compact benchtop housing
  • Microtube rotor assembly
  • Brushless motor drive
  • Transparent safety lid
  • Hinged lid mechanism
  • Microtube holders and rotor inserts
  • Power control interface
  • Internal drive and electrical components
Rotor and tube-holder configurations can be supplied According to project requirements.
Working Principle / Structural Principle The centrifuge separates components of liquid samples according to density by applying centrifugal force. Compatible microtubes are positioned in the rotor and arranged in a balanced configuration before centrifugation.

When the brushless motor rotates the rotor at the selected speed, centrifugal force causes denser components of the sample to migrate away from the rotational axis while lighter fractions remain closer to the center. Following completion of the centrifugation cycle, the separated sample can be transferred to the next stage of the laboratory workflow.

The selected WTL-4K, WTL-6K or WTL-10K configuration determines the maximum rotational speed and corresponding centrifugal force. This allows the equipment to be selected according to the requirements of the intended sample preparation procedure.

For veterinary diagnostic workflows, centrifugation speed, duration and sample preparation procedures should follow the validated protocol for the specific test, sample type and laboratory application.

Installation & Maintenance The centrifuge is designed for simple benchtop installation and does not require permanent mechanical installation. Position the unit on a stable, level and clean laboratory work surface with adequate clearance around the equipment.

Before operation, verify that the rotor and tube holders are correctly installed. Microtubes should be distributed symmetrically and balanced before centrifugation. Only compatible tubes and accessories should be used with the selected rotor configuration.

Keep the transparent lid closed while the rotor is operating and wait until rotation has completely stopped before opening the lid. Do not exceed the specified speed, RCF or sample capacity of the selected model.

Routine maintenance includes cleaning the external housing, rotor and tube holders and inspecting the lid, rotor and sample-contact surfaces for contamination or damage. Biological spills should be handled according to the laboratory's established biosafety and disinfection procedures.

The brushless motor is designed for long service life and reduced routine motor maintenance. Periodic inspection and performance verification should follow the applicable equipment instructions and laboratory quality management procedures.
