The swing-out horizontal rotor allows supported sample containers to move into a horizontal position during rotation. Operating speed and sample capacity must remain within the applicable specifications. The clear shatterproof lid and reinforced guard bowl provide a protected centrifugation enclosure. The lid should remain closed throughout operation and should not be opened until the rotor has completely stopped. Routine maintenance includes inspection and cleaning of the centrifugation chamber, rotor, carriers, adapters and lid.
