PP Manure Belt

The PP Manure Belt is a polypropylene conveyor belt used to collect and move manure within automated livestock waste handling systems. The product is a smooth polypropylene belt supplied in rolls. In a complete manure removal installation, the belt operates with a supporting frame or deck, drive and return rollers, tracking and tensioning components, and a discharge scraper. These system components should be specified separately to match the farm layout and conveyor design.

Manure falls onto the supported belt beneath the livestock housing area. At scheduled intervals, the drive moves the belt toward the discharge end, where manure transfers to a cross conveyor, collection point or downstream handling equipment. A compatible scraper helps remove remaining material before the belt returns through the system.

Install the belt on a level, adequately supported conveyor path and set tracking and tension in line with the equipment manufacturer's instructions. Check roller alignment, edge clearance and scraper contact before operation. During service, inspect the belt for edge wear, cuts, slippage and manure buildup; clean the belt and adjust tracking as needed. Joining and replacement procedures depend on the selected belt and drive system.
