A typical system comprises a scraper head with side wings, a floor guide profile, hydraulic cylinders, a hydraulic power unit, hoses and fittings, travel controls, and an electrical control cabinet. Materials, surface treatment and wear parts are specified according to the operating environment and approved design.

The power unit supplies hydraulic pressure to the cylinders, moving the guide profile back and forth. The guide engages and advances the scraper in steps. During the cleaning pass, the scraper directs manure along the walkway to the designated discharge point. The return action and cleaning sequence depend on the selected scraper and control configuration.
