The system arranges pullet cages vertically in multiple tiers. The supporting frame carries the cage modules while maintaining working aisles between rows for flock inspection and equipment servicing. Feeding: Feed is delivered along the cage rows through the selected feeding arrangement. Adjustable components can be used to match the feeding position to bird growth. Drinking: Water is supplied through drinking lines and nipple drinkers positioned within convenient reach of the birds. Manure Management: Droppings pass through the cage floor and can be collected and removed using the selected manure-management system. Growth Management: The controlled cage environment helps operators organize feeding, watering, inspection and flock transfer throughout the pullet-rearing period. |
