| Product Overview | The EID & Weight-Based 3-Way Automatic Cattle Sorting System is designed for commercial cattle operations that require fast, repeatable and data-driven livestock grouping. The system combines electronic identification, livestock weighing and powered drafting gates. As each animal passes through the weighing and identification station, its EID tag and live weight can be recorded by a compatible livestock-management system. The control system then automatically selects one of three exit routes according to preset drafting criteria. Automatic drafting reduces repetitive manual gate operation, improves consistency between management groups and allows operators to process cattle from a safer working position. The modular configuration can be integrated with new cattle-handling facilities or compatible existing cattle crushes, chutes and weighing stations. |

| Working Principle | Cattle enter the processing station individually through the working race. When the animal is correctly positioned, the weighing cycle begins and the compatible EID reader identifies the animal. The weighing system records the animal's live weight and retrieves or stores the relevant electronic identification information. Drafting criteria can be established according to weight or other compatible livestock-management data associated with the EID record. After the weighing decision is completed, the controller activates the appropriate pneumatic drafting gate. The animal moves forward into the selected left, center or right exit lane. The gates then return to the required ready position for the next animal. The operator can manually override the automatic decision by remote control when required. |
