Product Overview

The Automatic Broiler Pan Feeding Line is designed for efficient feed delivery in commercial broiler houses. Feed is transferred from a central hopper or feed supply system into an enclosed conveying tube, where a rotating auger distributes feed along the complete feeding line and supplies multiple feeder pans.

The system can support feeding from the early chick stage through the finishing period. Line length, feeder pan configuration, suspension height, drive system and control method can be engineered according to poultry house dimensions, stocking requirements and farm management practices. It is suitable for new poultry farm construction, steel structure poultry houses and renovation of existing broiler facilities.

Key Features
  • Automatic feed distribution: Auger conveying reduces manual feeding work and distributes feed continuously along the poultry house.
  • Uniform feeding access: Multiple pans positioned along the line provide evenly distributed feeding points for broilers.
  • Chick-to-finish operation: Suitable feeder pan designs provide convenient feed access for young chicks and adjustable feeding levels as birds grow.
  • Feed-saving design: Pan edges, feed cones and controlled feed levels help reduce scratching and unnecessary feed spillage.
  • Automatic control: A control pan with feed-level sensing can be supplied to start and stop feed delivery according to system demand.
  • Adjustable line height: Suspended feeding lines can be raised as birds grow and lifted during poultry house cleaning.
  • Modular configuration: Line length, feeder quantity, spacing, suspension points and drive configuration can be adapted to individual projects.
  • Durable construction: Galvanized conveying components and engineering plastic feeder parts are suitable for intensive poultry farm environments.
Structural Components
  • Feed hopper or feed inlet assembly
  • Galvanized feed conveying tubes
  • Internal spiral feed auger
  • Broiler feeder pans
  • Drive unit with geared electric motor
  • Control pan with optional feed-level sensor
  • Suspension cables, pulleys and mounting hardware
  • Manual or electric lifting system
  • Electrical control unit
  • Optional connection to bulk feed silo and main feed conveying system
Working Principle

Feed is delivered from a bulk silo, day bin or central feed supply system to the inlet hopper. The drive motor rotates the auger inside the conveying tube, moving feed along the poultry house and distributing it into feeder pans.

In an automatic configuration, a feed-level sensor installed at the control pan detects feed demand and controls operation of the feeding line. Feed levels can be adjusted according to bird age, feed form and farm management requirements.

The complete line is suspended from the poultry house structure, allowing its working height to be adjusted during the production cycle and raised for cleaning and disinfection between flocks.

Installation & Maintenance

Installation: Feeding lines are normally installed longitudinally inside the poultry house and suspended from the roof structure using cables and pulley assemblies. Feed tubes, augers, feeder pans, drive units and suspension components are assembled in sections for efficient installation.

Commissioning: Before operation, check auger rotation, motor operation, sensor response, feed level, suspension height and electrical protection.

Maintenance: Routine maintenance includes cleaning feeder pans, checking tube connections, inspecting auger and drive components, examining suspension cables and testing feed sensors. The feeding lines can be lifted between production cycles for convenient poultry house cleaning and disinfection.

Product FAQ

Q: Can the feeding line be used for young chicks?
