| Working Principle | Waste falls through the slatted floor into the channel below. Liquid drains toward the lower urine collection route, while the scraper moves retained manure along the channel to its discharge point. The solids may then be transferred through an external channel to storage, treatment equipment or a loading area. Separation performance depends on the channel geometry, drainage condition, bedding use and operating schedule. |
