Gas Tail Docker for Piglet Tail Docking

Product Showcase Content
Product Name Gas Tail Docker for Piglets
Product Image Gas Tail Docker for Piglets
Product Overview

The Gas Tail Docker is a portable piglet care tool designed for fast tail docking without the need for a mains electrical connection. The heated cutting tip removes the tail while simultaneously cauterizing the tissue, helping seal small blood vessels during the procedure.

Built with a durable stainless-steel body and a heat-conductive copper cutting tip, the unit heats rapidly and is suitable for repetitive work in commercial pig farms, farrowing houses and veterinary applications.

  • Stainless-steel body construction
  • Copper heat-conductive cutting tip
  • Integrated gas cylinder compartment
  • Fast-heating cautery cutting system
Key Features
  • Gas-Powered Operation: Portable design does not require a mains power cable during normal operation.
  • Cutting and Cauterization: The heated tip cuts the tail and cauterizes tissue at the same time.
  • Rapid Heating: The heating system is designed to reach working temperature quickly for efficient farm use.
  • High Working Temperature: The SHEWUYOU model is specified for temperatures up to approximately 500°C.
  • Copper Cutting Tip: Copper provides effective thermal conductivity for fast heat transfer to the working tip.
  • Stainless-Steel Body: Durable metal structure is suitable for repeated use in pig farm environments.
  • Reduced Bleeding: Thermal cauterization helps seal small blood vessels immediately after cutting.
  • Portable Farm Tool: Suitable for use directly in farrowing rooms without trailing electrical cables.
Working Principle

Gas from the internal cylinder feeds the burner and heats the metal cutting tip. Once the required operating temperature is reached, the heated tip is applied at the selected tail-docking position. The hot blade separates the tail while simultaneously cauterizing the cut surface, helping close small blood vessels and reduce bleeding.
