| Product Name | Manure Solids Stacking Auger |
| Product Image | ![]() |
| Product Overview | The Manure Solids Stacking Auger transfers separated, dewatered manure away from a solid-liquid separator and deposits it at a planned stockpiling point. Its rotating screw moves material through a supported trough, allowing the discharge to be positioned beyond the separator for easier collection and storage. The layout can be incorporated into dairy manure systems and suitable commercial pig farm waste treatment projects. |
| Key Features |
|
| Structural Components | A typical stacking auger consists of a screw shaft with helical flighting, U-shaped trough, drive and gear reducer, end supports, bearings, inlet, discharge outlet and support legs or structural mounts. Covers or safety grates and service access are specified according to the installation. Material and wear-part choices depend on moisture, abrasiveness and expected operating duty. |
| Working Principle | Dewatered solids enter the trough beneath or after the separator discharge. The drive rotates the screw, and its flighting advances the material along the trough to the outlet. Material falls onto a designated concrete storage pad, into a container or onto another compatible conveying stage. The auger should be matched to the separator output to avoid material buildup at the inlet. |

|
| Applications | Dairy manure fiber separation, commercial pig farm solid-liquid separation, compost feedstock handling and transfer of other suitably dewatered livestock waste. Suitability for sand-laden or highly abrasive material requires appropriate wear-component selection. This equipment is intended to stack conveyable solids; raw dilute slurry requires a different handling system. |
| Customization Options | Screw size, trough length, incline, discharge position, support height, drive configuration and construction materials can be designed according to project requirements. For steel structure farm buildings, confirm wall openings, column locations, maintenance clearances and the outside stockpile area when setting the equipment route. |
| Installation & Maintenance | Install the inlet beneath the separator's solids outlet and secure the trough to engineered supports. Check alignment, rotation direction, clearances, guarding and discharge position before loading. During service, isolate the drive before opening covers, remove accumulated material, and inspect flighting, bearings, seals and trough surfaces for wear. Keep the stockpile from obstructing the discharge. |
