Product Overview The Tracked Mobile Compost Trommel Screen separates mature compost from larger particles using a rotating screening drum. A crawler undercarriage allows the unit to be repositioned around a composting yard, while separate discharge conveyors direct screened material and oversize to their respective stockpiles. It is suited to commercial pig farms, livestock manure treatment centers, and agricultural projects that process compost in multiple locations.

Structural Components Typical assemblies include a feed hopper and metering conveyor, rotary screen drum, drum drive, cleaning brush, fines collection and discharge conveyor, oversize discharge conveyor, steel support frame, tracked undercarriage, power unit, and operator controls. Working Principle A loader deposits conditioned compost into the hopper. The feeder delivers material to the rotating drum, where agitation presents it to the screen openings. Smaller particles pass through to the fines conveyor; larger clumps, woody material, and other oversize exit at the end of the drum. Screening results depend on feed moisture, particle size, screen opening, and feed rate.

Applications Screening cured pig manure compost, poultry litter compost, cattle manure compost, green waste compost, and blended organic soil amendments. Can it screen freshly collected manure?
It is intended primarily for conditioned or cured compost. Wet, sticky feed may clog the screen and should be assessed before selecting an aperture and feed rate.
