| Working Principle |
Electrical current passes through the internal filament and raises it to a high operating temperature. The bulb then emits infrared radiation together with a controlled amount of visible light, depending on the glass color and design. The reflector-shaped bulb directs radiant energy toward the animals and brooder floor. Birds, litter and nearby surfaces absorb this energy and convert it into heat, creating a localized warm zone. Heating intensity depends on bulb wattage, suspension height, reflector design, ambient temperature and the distance between the lamp and the animals. |
