| Working Principle | The ultrasound transducer generates high-frequency sound waves that enter the animal's tissues. Different tissue interfaces reflect part of the acoustic energy back to the probe. The scanner processes these returning echoes and converts them into real-time grayscale images. During pregnancy examination, the operator uses an appropriate rectal or abdominal probe to identify reproductive structures, uterine contents and fetal development.
