Product Name MULTI-STATION SMART AUTOMATIC CALF FEEDER
Product Image multi-station smart automatic calf feeder
Product Overview The Multi-Station Smart Automatic Calf Feeder is designed for professional dairy and beef calf-rearing facilities that require precise individual feeding, reduced manual labor and continuous monitoring of calf drinking behavior.

Each calf can be identified through an electronic transponder or compatible electronic ear tag. According to the programmed feeding plan, the system determines whether the calf is entitled to drink, prepares a fresh portion, controls the required quantity and temperature, and records individual feeding data.

Depending on configuration, one central feeder can supply multiple feeding stations and can be configured for milk replacer, fresh milk or combined feeding. Internet-enabled management, automatic cleaning and expandable station architecture make the system suitable for new calf barns and modernization projects.
Key Features
  • Multi-Station Architecture: One automatic feeder can supply multiple drinking stations according to herd size and barn layout.
  • Individual Calf Identification: Electronic transponders or compatible ear tags identify each calf automatically before feeding.
  • Individual Feeding Plans: Milk allowance, portion size and feeding schedule can be adjusted according to calf age, development and management strategy.
  • Fresh Portion Preparation: Feed is prepared when required instead of relying on long-term prepared milk storage.
  • Temperature-Controlled Feeding: The preparation system supplies calf milk at a controlled feeding temperature.
  • Milk Replacer or Fresh Milk: Powder, fresh-milk and combined feeding configurations are available according to project requirements.
  • Automatic Cleaning: Automated cleaning functions reduce manual sanitation work and improve hygiene of milk-contact components.
  • Drinking Behavior Monitoring: Individual feed intake and feeding activity can be recorded to help identify abnormal drinking behavior.
  • Remote Management: Internet-enabled monitoring allows calf information and feeder status to be accessed through compatible management systems.
  • Expandable System: Feeding stations, weighing equipment, concentrate feeders and other modules can be added according to project requirements.
  • Reduced Routine Labor: Automatic preparation, distribution, recording and cleaning reduce repetitive calf-feeding work.
Structural Components
  • Central Automatic Feeder: Houses preparation, heating, dosing and control components.
  • Milk Powder Hopper: Stores milk replacer powder in powder or combination configurations.
  • Automatic Mixer: Mixes water, milk replacer and configured liquid components into a consistent fresh ration.
  • Heating System: Provides heated water for controlled milk preparation and cleaning cycles.
  • Milk Pumps and Valves: Transfer prepared feed from the central unit to individual drinking stations.
  • Feeding Stations: Provide protected individual drinking positions within group calf pens.
  • Animal Identification Reader: Reads compatible transponders or electronic ear tags and links feeding activity to the individual calf.
  • Teat and Milk-Line Assembly: Delivers prepared milk from the central feeder to the calf.
  • Control Terminal: Allows local feeder operation, feeding-plan setup and animal data review.
  • Optional Smart Management Modules: Touch display, weighing equipment, concentrate feeder, additive dosing and remote management functions are available according to configuration.
Working Principle When a calf enters the feeding station, the identification reader recognizes its electronic transponder or compatible ear tag. The control system checks the calf's individual feeding plan, previous intake and current feeding entitlement.

If the calf is eligible to drink, the feeder automatically prepares the required fresh portion using water, milk replacer, fresh milk or a configured combination. The ration is mixed, brought to the required feeding temperature and transferred through the milk line to the appropriate feeding station.

Consumed quantity and feeding activity are recorded for the individual calf. Meaningful changes in intake or drinking behavior can be highlighted for inspection by farm personnel.

Automatic rinsing and cleaning programs clean relevant milk-contact components according to the configured sanitation cycle.
