Product Showcase Content
Product Name A39E ANTI-TAMPER ANIMAL WEIGHING INDICATOR
Product Image A39E Anti-Tamper Animal Weighing Indicator
Product Overview The A39E is a Class III analog weighing indicator designed for platform scales, livestock scales and other electronic weighing systems using analog load cells. In addition to standard weighing functions, it integrates anti-tamper protection and an animal weighing mode for applications where moving livestock may cause unstable readings.

Sensor impedance monitoring and an electronic seal help detect unauthorized changes to load cells, junction boxes, cables or the internal circuitry of the indicator. AC/DC dual power, a built-in rechargeable battery and optional communication interfaces provide flexible use in livestock farms and general weighing installations.

Key Features
  • Animal Weighing Mode: Provides a dedicated function for livestock weighing where animal movement may cause fluctuating signals.
  • Anti-Tamper Monitoring: Detects abnormal sensor impedance conditions that may indicate unauthorized devices or wiring changes.
  • Electronic Seal: Helps detect unauthorized opening or modification of the indicator's internal circuit.
  • Abnormal Alarm Indication: Prompts the operator when anti-tamper security conditions are incomplete or abnormal.
  • High-Resolution A/D Conversion: 24-bit Sigma-Delta conversion provides stable processing of analog load-cell signals.
  • AC/DC Dual Power: Operates from AC 220 V / 50 Hz or the built-in 6 V / 4 Ah rechargeable battery.
  • Long Battery Operation: Typical continuous operating time is approximately 40 hours after a full charge.
  • Optional Data Communication: RS232 can connect to a computer, remote display or compatible POS58 thermal printer.
  • Additional Functions: Supports simple counting and kilogram-to-pound conversion in addition to standard weighing.
Working Principle One to four analog load cells convert the applied load into electrical signals. The A39E receives these signals and uses a 24-bit Sigma-Delta A/D converter to process them into a digital weight value for display.

In animal weighing mode, the indicator processes fluctuating load signals caused by normal livestock movement to obtain a practical stable reading. At the same time, the anti-tamper system monitors sensor impedance and electronic-seal status for abnormal changes in the weighing circuit.

  • Check sensor impedance alarms if abnormal weight behavior or wiring changes are detected.
  • Keep the indicator dry and protect it from direct high-pressure washing and excessive condensation.
  • Recharge the battery regularly when the instrument is used without mains power.
  • Confirm communication settings before connecting RS232 or Bluetooth devices.
  • Calibration and electrical servicing should be performed by qualified weighing-system personnel.
Product FAQ

Q: Does the A39E support animal weighing?
A: Yes. Animal weighing is one of the standard functions of the A39E and is suitable for compatible livestock weighing systems.

Q: What makes the A39E different from a basic weighing indicator?
A: It adds sensor impedance monitoring, anti-tamper alarm functions and an electronic seal to help protect the integrity of the weighing system.

Q: How many load cells can be connected?
A: The standard configuration supports one to four analog load cells using a four-wire connection.

Q: Can it work without AC power?
A: Yes. A built-in 6 V / 4 Ah rechargeable battery provides approximately 40 hours of typical continuous operation after a full charge.

Q: Can it connect to a computer?
A: Yes. An optional RS232 interface can be used for computer connection and other compatible peripherals.

Q: Is Bluetooth available?
A: Yes. Bluetooth 2.0 slave mode is available as an optional interface. The Bluetooth configuration does not provide RS232 output at the same time.

Q: Can a printer or remote display be connected?
A: With the optional RS232 interface, the indicator can connect to compatible computers, large displays and POS58 thermal printers.

Q: Is the A39E suitable for truck scales?
A: The A39E is primarily an analog platform-scale indicator supporting up to four analog load cells. Final suitability should be confirmed according to the load-cell quantity and wiring configuration of the weighing system.
