HEAVY-DUTY DIGITAL CRANE SCALE |
| Product Image |
 |
| Product Overview |
The Heavy-Duty Digital Crane Scale combines lifting and weighing in a single operation, allowing suspended loads to be measured directly during material handling.
Available in 3-ton, 5-ton and 10-ton capacities, it features a high-strength hook and shackle, all-steel protective housing, electronic load sensor and built-in rechargeable battery. It is suitable for warehouses, factories, logistics yards, agricultural facilities and other locations where a fixed floor scale is impractical. |

| Key Features |
- 3–10 Ton Capacity Range: Standard 3 t, 5 t and 10 t models cover common industrial suspended-load weighing requirements.
- 1/2000 Resolution: Provides reliable digital weighing for lifting and material-handling operations.
- Integrated Lifting and Weighing: Measures load weight while materials are being lifted or transferred, reducing separate weighing steps.
- High-Strength Hook and Shackle: Heavy-duty suspension components are designed for demanding crane-scale applications.
- All-Steel Housing: Strong metal enclosure protects internal weighing and electronic components during industrial use.
- Digital Weight Display: Provides direct weight readings at the lifting point.
- Built-In Rechargeable Battery: Integrated battery supports portable operation without a permanent external power connection.
- Rear Charging Connection: Battery charging is conveniently accessed through the rear housing.
- Space-Saving Weighing: Requires no dedicated floor-scale platform and is suitable for locations with limited installation space.
- Flexible Operation: Can be used in temporary or changing weighing locations with compatible lifting equipment.
- Simple Calibration and Maintenance: Electronic weighing design simplifies routine weight correction and servicing.

| Working Principle |
The crane scale is installed between compatible lifting equipment and the suspended load. When the load is lifted, tensile force is transferred through the upper shackle, load-sensing element and lower hook.
The internal electronic sensor converts this mechanical force into an electrical signal. The weighing circuit processes the signal and calculates the suspended weight, which is then shown on the digital display.
Because weighing takes place during lifting or loading, the system can reduce additional material-handling steps compared with transferring the load to a separate platform scale. |

| Installation & Maintenance |
- Select a crane scale capacity that exceeds the maximum expected suspended load.
- Inspect the hook, shackle, pins and suspension points before each weighing operation.
- Ensure the scale is vertically aligned and the load is securely attached before lifting.
- Do not exceed the rated weighing capacity or subject the scale to severe shock loading.
- Lift and lower loads smoothly to reduce swinging and improve weight stability.
- Never stand beneath a suspended load during weighing operations.
- Do not use the crane scale for lifting personnel or live animals.
- Keep the housing, display and charging connection clean and dry during storage.
- Recharge the internal battery according to operating requirements and avoid prolonged deep discharge.
- Inspect the hook and shackle regularly for deformation, cracking, excessive wear or other damage.
- Verify weighing accuracy periodically and recalibrate according to applicable weighing procedures.

| Product FAQ |
Q: What capacities are available?
A: Standard listed capacities are 3 tons, 5 tons and 10 tons.
Q: What is the scale resolution?
A: The listed resolution is 1/2000.
Q: What is the crane scale housing made from?
A: The scale uses an all-steel protective housing with high-strength suspension components.
Q: Does the crane scale have its own battery?
A: Yes. A rechargeable battery is installed inside the scale housing.
Q: Why use a crane scale instead of a platform scale?
A: It allows weighing to be completed during lifting and material handling without occupying floor space for a permanent weighing platform.
Q: Can it be used for feed and agricultural materials?
A: Yes. It can weigh properly suspended feed bags, bulk bags and other agricultural materials within the rated capacity.
Q: Is it suitable for temporary weighing locations?
A: Yes. The suspended design is particularly useful where available floor space is limited or a permanent scale cannot be installed.
Q: Can the crane scale be used to lift animals?
A: No. It is intended for properly secured material loads and should not be used for lifting live animals or personnel.
