Product Name GAS CYLINDER SCALE
Product Image Gas Cylinder Scale for Livestock Farms
Product Overview The Gas Cylinder Scale is designed for weighing and monitoring gas cylinders used in livestock farms and agricultural facilities. It can be applied to compatible LPG, CO2, oxygen and other gas cylinders used in livestock heating, farm utility, maintenance and production-support systems.

The scale features a heavy-duty weighing frame, adjustable roller-type cylinder supports and an electronic load-cell weighing system. The support position can be adjusted for different cylinder diameters, while the roller structure makes horizontal cylinder positioning and handling more convenient.

Key Features
  • 2-Ton Capacity: Heavy-duty weighing structure supports gas cylinders and suitable storage vessels within the rated capacity.
  • Livestock Farm Application: Suitable for gas-cylinder monitoring in pig farms, poultry farms, cattle farms and other livestock facilities.
  • Adjustable Cylinder Supports: Support positions can be adjusted according to different cylinder diameters.
  • Roller Support Design: Integrated rollers make horizontal cylinder positioning and controlled rotation more convenient.
  • Stable Electronic Weighing: Load cells continuously monitor cylinder weight for inventory and consumption management.
  • Digital Indicator: Standard configuration uses the XK3190-C8+ weighing indicator for clear weight display.
  • Corrosion-Resistant Finish: Protective surface treatment improves durability in routine farm service environments.
  • Gas Consumption Monitoring: Weight changes can be used to estimate remaining gas quantity when the empty-cylinder tare weight is known.
  • Optional Control Integration: The weighing signal can be incorporated into suitable farm gas supply or process-control systems according to project requirements.
Working Principle The gas cylinder is positioned horizontally on the adjustable roller supports of the scale. Electronic load cells beneath the weighing structure detect the applied load and convert it into an electrical signal.

The digital weighing indicator processes the signal and displays the total cylinder weight. When the empty-cylinder tare weight is known, the remaining gas quantity can be estimated by comparing the current gross weight with the tare weight.

In livestock farm applications, this allows operators to monitor gas consumption and plan cylinder replacement for heating, maintenance and other farm utility systems.

  • Keep manure, dust, feed residue and other farm contamination away from weighing components.
  • Repair damaged protective coating before corrosion develops.
  • Protect the weighing indicator and electrical connections from direct high-pressure washing unless suitable protection is provided.
  • Check weighing performance periodically using suitable reference loads.
  • Gas supply, valve and control-system installation should follow the safety requirements applicable to the gas and livestock facility.
Product FAQ

Q: What is this gas cylinder scale mainly used for?
A: It is designed to weigh and monitor gas cylinders used in livestock farms, agricultural facilities and compatible farm utility systems.

Q: What is the maximum weighing capacity?
A: The standard configuration has a rated capacity of 2 tons.

Q: What is the standard size?
A: The standard weighing structure is approximately 0.8 × 1.2 × 0.33 m.

Q: Can it accommodate different cylinder diameters?
A: Yes. The positions of the roller-type cylinder supports can be adjusted for different cylinder sizes.

Q: Why does the scale use roller supports?
A: The rollers make horizontal cylinder positioning and controlled rotation easier during installation, weighing and maintenance.

Q: Which weighing indicator is supplied?
A: The standard configuration uses the XK3190-C8+ digital weighing indicator. Other indicators can be selected according to project requirements.

Q: Can the scale monitor remaining gas quantity?
A: Yes. When the empty-cylinder tare weight is known, operators can use the measured gross weight to estimate the remaining gas quantity.

Q: Can it be connected to a farm gas-control system?
A: Yes. Suitable control integration can be provided according to the gas supply system, operating requirements and project configuration.

Q: Is the standard model explosion-proof?
A: Explosion-proof certification is not specified for the standard configuration. Where classified hazardous areas are involved, suitable certified weighing and electrical components should be selected according to local requirements.
