The Non-Return Valve Lamb Feeding Bucket is a multi-position milk feeding system designed for artificial rearing and supplementary feeding of lambs and goat kids. Individual feeding teats are combined with one-way valve assemblies to help restrict milk backflow and maintain a more stable milk column during suckling. The bucket allows several young animals to feed simultaneously, reducing the labor required for individual bottle feeding. Its simple gravity-fed structure is suitable for lambing sheds, nursery pens, commercial sheep farms, goat farms and livestock breeding projects. The reference livestock bucket configuration can provide five feeding positions and approximately 9 L capacity, while bucket size, teat quantity, valve type, mounting arrangement and other specifications can be customized according to project requirements. |

Milk or prepared milk replacer is placed in the bucket reservoir and supplied to each feeding position through gravity. When a lamb suckles the teat, pressure changes at the nipple draw milk through the valve assembly toward the animal. The non-return valve permits flow in the feeding direction while restricting milk from moving backward when the lamb pauses. This helps maintain milk close to the teat and can reduce blow-back within the feeding assembly. Actual milk flow depends on teat design, valve configuration, milk level, milk viscosity and animal suckling strength. The complete feeding system should therefore be matched to the age and condition of the animals. |
