Product Name Automatic Chick Eye Drop Vaccinator
Product Image automatic chick eye drop vaccinator for poultry hatchery
Product Overview

The Automatic Chick Eye Drop Vaccinator is designed for controlled administration of liquid poultry vaccines directly into the eye of day-old chicks. The equipment helps standardize individual vaccination procedures in commercial hatcheries while reducing repetitive manual dropper operation.

The system uses an electrically controlled dosing mechanism that can be activated by a sensor, push button or other operator control according to configuration. A precisely formed droplet remains at the dispensing nozzle until it is absorbed by the chick's eye. Optional counting and vaccine cooling functions support organized, repeatable hatchery vaccination workflows.

Key Features
  • Designed for individual eye-drop vaccination of day-old chicks.
  • Sensor-operated or switch-controlled dispensing cycle.
  • Electronic adjustable dosing for repeatable vaccine delivery.
  • Droplet-holding function keeps the vaccine drop suspended at the nozzle before application.
  • Electronic chick counting function available according to configuration.
  • Vaccine cooling chamber or cooling jacket available for temperature management.
  • Compact and portable construction for hatchery vaccination workstations.
  • Sturdy metallic frame for routine commercial poultry operation.
  • Simple operating sequence supports efficient staff training.
Structural Components
  • Main metallic equipment frame and protective housing
  • Electronic dosing control module
  • Chick-position or operating sensor
  • Push-button or foot-switch control, depending on configuration
  • Vaccine reservoir or bottle holder
  • Liquid delivery tubing
  • Precision eye-drop dispensing nozzle
  • Electronic chick counter
  • Vaccine cooling chamber or gel-filled cooling jacket
  • Power supply and electrical control components
  • Consumable spare-parts and maintenance kit
Working Principle

Prepared vaccine is supplied from the reservoir to the electronic dosing mechanism. When the operator activates the switch or the sensor detects the required position, the system delivers one controlled vaccine droplet to the end of the nozzle.

The droplet remains suspended rather than falling immediately. The operator positions the chick so that the open eye contacts the droplet and absorbs the vaccine. After the vaccination cycle, the counting function can increase the recorded bird total automatically.

Where specified, the vaccine reservoir is surrounded by a cooling chamber or cooling jacket to help maintain the prepared vaccine at an appropriate operating temperature during continuous hatchery work.

  • Inspect the dosing nozzle, vaccine tubing and sensor before each production shift.
  • Prime the liquid circuit before vaccination and verify correct droplet formation.
  • Set the required dose according to the approved vaccination protocol.
  • Keep prepared vaccine properly cooled during operation.
  • Clean vaccine-contact components after each vaccination session.
  • Inspect tubing, seals and nozzles regularly and replace worn consumables.
  • Keep electrical components protected from direct water during cleaning.
  • Follow hatchery hygiene and biosecurity procedures at all times.
Product FAQ

Q: What is the Automatic Chick Eye Drop Vaccinator used for?
A: It is designed for controlled individual administration of suitable poultry vaccines through the ocular route, particularly for day-old chicks in hatcheries.

Q: Is the machine fully automatic?
A: The dosing cycle can be automatically triggered by a sensor, but individual chicks are normally positioned by an operator. Different automation levels can be configured according to project requirements.

Q: Can the dosage be adjusted?
A: Yes. The dosing system can be configured for different dose requirements. Final settings must follow the vaccine manufacturer's approved instructions.

Q: Can the machine count vaccinated chicks?
A: Yes. An electronic counting system can be integrated to record completed vaccination cycles.

Q: Can vaccine temperature be controlled?
A: A cooling chamber or cooling jacket can be included to help maintain the prepared vaccine at the required operating temperature.

Q: Can the equipment be customized?
A: Yes. Control method, dosing range, electrical supply, cooling system, accessories and workstation arrangement can be customized according to project requirements.
