| Product Overview |
The Modular Chemical and Biological Air Scrubber treats collected exhaust air from mechanically ventilated pig houses before outdoor discharge. A chemical wet-scrubbing stage targets ammonia and airborne dust. Where additional odor control is required, a downstream biological stage can be incorporated. The number of treatment modules, air connections and service equipment can be planned around the ventilation capacity and layout of a commercial pig farm. The system is suitable for new pig farm construction and for retrofits where the existing ventilation arrangement allows exhaust air to be routed through the scrubber. |

| Working Principle |
Exhaust fans move pig house air into the chemical modules. The air contacts circulating, acidified wash water across the spray and packing sections, transferring ammonia into the liquid and capturing part of the airborne dust. A droplet separator then limits moisture carryover. If specified, the air continues through a moist biological filter where microorganisms help reduce remaining odor-causing substances. The treated air is discharged outdoors. The chemical and biological water circuits are arranged separately according to the final process design. |

| Customization Options |
Module count, chemical and biological stage arrangement, duct connection, control functions, service layout and materials can be customized. The final design should account for maximum and minimum ventilation rates, available installation space, local climate, farm conditions and applicable emission requirements. |
| Installation & Maintenance |
Coordinate the scrubber with the pig house ventilation design before installation. Confirm fan capacity against the complete system pressure loss, and plan the foundation, duct seals, water supply, drainage, electrical connections, chemical storage and safe service access. Prefabricated sections can be assembled beside the building and connected to the exhaust-air route. Routine service includes checking spray nozzles, packing, droplet separators, pumps, sensors and water circuits. Maintain the specified wash-water chemistry, remove deposits and manage blowdown water according to local requirements. Biological media must remain adequately moist and supplied with airflow for stable operation. |
