| Product Overview | The Cross-Cut Calf Feeding Teat is a durable rubber nipple designed for individual calf bottles, calf feeding buckets and compatible milk-feeding systems. Its flexible teat body provides a practical suckling interface for newborn and growing calves receiving whole milk, colostrum or correctly prepared liquid milk replacer. The cross-cut outlet opens in response to suckling pressure and helps provide controlled milk delivery during feeding. A broad mounting flange allows secure installation in compatible bottle or feeder connections, while the simple one-piece rubber construction supports routine cleaning, inspection and replacement in commercial dairy and cattle-rearing operations. |

| Working Principle | The teat is installed in a compatible calf feeding bottle, bucket valve or milk-feeding connection. Milk enters the internal teat passage from the feeding container. When the calf suckles and compresses the flexible rubber teat, the cross-cut opening separates sufficiently to release liquid. When suckling pressure decreases, the elastic rubber returns toward its original shape and the outlet partially closes. This simple pressure-responsive principle supports controlled milk delivery without requiring a complicated mechanical valve inside the teat. |
